The transformative framework
To create societal change, we must raise our individual and collective consciousness, and we must transform societal structures. To achieve these aims, studio––gf uses a transformative framework that is founded upon three key insights:
- The outer reflects the inner: Everything that takes place reflects an inner state of consciousness. This is true at every level, from personal matters to global events affecting all of humanity. Our current world situation is an expression of human consciousness and the mental models we hold.
 - Change goes from the inside out: This is the consequence of the first insight. We must first look inwards to evolve and expand our consciousness, before we can create profound societal transformation.
 - The landscape of change is social: Our ability to raise consciousness is shaped and limited by social structures that maintain certain mental models while suppressing others. This dynamic forms a triangle in which personal/human consciousness, the physical world, and societal structures all influence each other.

These insights tell us that growth of consciousness is a necessary prerequisite for societal change, but that without shifts in societal structures and their underlying paradigms and mental models, the potential for change remains limited.

Elements of the framework.
Four elements make up our transformative framework we use to elevate consciousness, build resilient communities, and enact far-reaching transformations that reshape the future.
- A grounding philosophy that explains the relationship between consciousness, societal structures, and world creation. This philosophy describes our current global situation and also presents a pathway to the necessary great turn toward a humanity at one with nature—a path that everyone can follow.
 - A guide for self-transformation to help every individual enhance their inner qualities. The success of each intervention depends on the inner quality of the person who is intervening. As such, self-transformation, self-leadership, and the creation of inner freedom are essential for making an impact.
 - Methods, tools, and approaches for creating lasting societal change. This ever-growing asset base covers change at all levels, from working with groups, to transforming communities and organizations, to create large-scale societal change. It comprises tools for analyzing and understanding, strategizing, designing, implementing, facilitating, and creating.

These elements are brought to bear on every project we engage with, creating possibilities and initiating change.
