We have the opportunity to transform our societies into truly emancipatory, participatory, and democratic communities, and you join us on this amazing journey.

There can be no denying the multiple interconnected upheavals and crises we face, from ecological destruction and wars raging, to rising authoritarianism, technology destroying our social fabric, and sick societies that are making us unwell. But it is within all of this disturbance and turmoil that we can find opportunity, which asks of us two things: gain true understanding and then act courageously on these insights. The crises we face are, after all, expressions of our current human consciousness—a profound invitation to turn inward and grow. By exceeding the limitations of our current consciousness, we can resolve our crises and create a different world.

We have built our societies on paradigms that are destructive, both for nature and for ourselves. We can only rebuild them if we ground ourselves on paradigms that are healthy, allowing all living beings to realize their potential. We have known this for a long time, but our conventional methods and approaches prevent it from happening; instead, they maintain a situation we deeply wish to change. That’s why, if we want to make the most of our opportunity, we have to create the path that others do not see.

The Fundamental Shift Conference is our first big step on this journey, with four days dedicated to essential skills and questions, self-leadership, understanding, perceiving, and transforming. Our goal is to bring together a thousand people—those committed to fundamentally changing society—and to create a space where we can take impactful action. It’s a gathering for doers who know that true change begins by looking inward.
